- The question "where are we from and where are we going"
- The answer "our tear becomes a star, the dead are going back to a star"-

After my father suddenly died, it was hard time for me above all things.
At that time i've heard " Dying is not the end. it is just going back somewhere.
it means we can talk anytime in our mind . so cheer up"
the Korean word "die" can express " going back" it doens't mean die and disappear.
it means going back the original world where i am from .
Although we can't talk to each other in reality,I am talking with my father who is watching over me in my work.

An white object in the work is inspired by a lantern.
In Korea, normal lanterns have fancy colors but there is no color for the dead.
the dead use white lamp to light up the way in the dark when they go back to the world where they are from.
Also, an white objet means many things including tears, raindrops, stars, planets etc.
each one of them is a story of a dead and living person.

The work lt's darkness and light

light has something in common. Images of light, led bulb light. They play a large role in the work that [light]. Light is receiving attention because of the darkness to exist. It is natural that there is a light because there is a darkness. The author has been working on the light which is main story. The darkness of the background and current and is expressed as a hero.

If previous work is the hero of light and darkness 'star rain' has been the main.
Darkness make darkness as a comfortable space not by accepting fear. It is like looking up the darkness of the night sky in the childhood.

Blooming Flower 2012 : Sibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
blooming heart means the flowers is used to convey the meaning of blooming flower. The theme of this work, starting from schrodinger cat.

It draw the world is simultaneously alive and dead.

schrodinger cat: A cat, a flask of poison and a radioactive source are placed in a sealed box. If an internal monitor detects radioactivity
(i.e. a single atom decaying), the flask is shattered, releasing the poison that kills the cat. There is a supposed fifty-percent chance of this happening. The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that after a while, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when we look in the box, we see the cat either alive or dead, not both alive and dead. This poses the question of when exactly superposition ends and reality collapses into one possibility or the other.(from: wikipedia)

When you wake up in the night, for example, looked up the windows,
what is the probability of being moon in the sky?
Neverthelesswhere the presence of the moon, it can judged depending we saw it or not.
That moment, two states coexist about the moon does exist or do not exit.

Blooming Flower 2011 : Ginza, Tokyo, Japan.
This work is the invisible line depicts two world.
Descended from heaven, the flowers in the darkness, is divided into two streams.
it make a way to communicate with humans in space with the led bulb made.
Each flower glows reacted randomly. The flowers looked object make the universe assimilating flowers around not to live alone.
Flowers, rather than blooming and the vanishing one messages are left as part of the universe as a self-delivered.
